This years 2012 London Fashion Week showcased many new talented designers such as the new highly anticipated, womenswear fashion brand ’Rouge by Rachele’ (RBR) Through each garment ‘Rouge’ aims to make women look and feel sophisticated whilst still being elegant. For a new brand, the reception the ‘Rouge’ collection received has been felt through various medias such as fashion blogs, articles as well as interviews. The colour pallet explored was dominantly black and white, however together with the innovative take on formal wear it created a statement that stood out from other designs sent down the runway. Rouge is designed by a young designer Rachelle who has a textiles background and is currently studying fashion design at a degree level, which is highly demonstrated in the attention to choice of fabrics, and execution of design in which this collection presents.
